While The Dead of Winter prepares to go before the cameras, my short zombie script Living Memory continues to trudge onwards like a shambling member of the living dead: it’s reached the quarterfinals of the Killer Shorts screenwriting competition. More details here.
Grim North Screenplay Competition
Chuffed to announce that two of my short horror scripts have been officially selected for the Grim North Screenplay Competition, the winners of which will be announced later this month. They are:
“Living Memory” - An elderly man struggles to care for his ailing wife, facing a terrible choice as her memory fails – while the zombies draw ever closer.
“The Lure” - An angler hooks a mysterious artifact from the river, and is stalked by an angry water spirit as he attempts to throw off its curse.
This also seems like an appropriate time to debut the amazing poster artwork for “The Lure”, by Grant Kempster.
